Pierre de Montlivault takes over from Hervé Druart as head of TIRU, a subsidiary of Dalkia (EDF Group). He was previously Chief Executive Officer of Dalkia Biogaz, a company specializing in methane production and biomethane injection.
A career in the environmental domain
Pierre de Montlivault was appointed Chief Executive Officer of TIRU, a subsidiary of the Dalkia Group, on September 1,2017.
Managing Director of Dalkia Biogaz (formerly Verdesis) since 2015, this engineer of Ponts, des Eaux et des Forêts (Bridges, Waters and Forests) previously held the position of Managing Director of Bois Energie France (Biomasse). Before that, Pierre de Montlivault worked for fifteen years in the Ministry of Ecology. He was also an advisor to Jean-Pierre Raffarin, then Prime Minister.
From the recycling of agro-food waste to household waste
As a specialist in the energy recovery of household waste, TIRU is present in France, the United Kingdom and Canada.
In addition to these traditional activities, TIRU is developing methane production techniques for household waste with biogas production and boilers using SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel from sorting). TIRU thus contributes to the ambition of Dalkia and the EDF Group to offer local authorities energy solutions adapted to their territories and committed to energy transition.
“I am very happy to join TIRU, whose activities are at the heart of the circular economy logic that I know very well and whose skills and expertise are real assets to meet the challenges of our clients.”
