TIRU supports all the runners of the association RUN ECO TEAM
With RUN ECO TEAM, TIRU promotes eco-gestures and raises public awareness of the impact of waste on the environment.
The partnership aims to encourage citizen participation in sustainable development. In this way, TIRU wishes to make the general public aware of the importance of waste sorting and treatment. In the field, and in close contact with its customers (communities, trade unions), the group is increasing opportunities to promote good practices: sorting, recycling, to reduce waste and recycle it. RUN ECO TEAM now offers a new sports medium for these messages.
Get set, Go!
A collective project supported by the entire company, the partnership is immediately put into action. In September, employees got mobilized: races were organised at all TIRU sites. In France, the United Kingdom and Canada, employees run under the colours of RUN ECO TEAM to spread the concept.
RUN ECO TEAM app
TIRU and RUN ECO TEAM offer a totally new mobile application! In addition to running functions (performance, distance, course), this calculates the energy potentially produced from the waste collected.
A great motivation to run even further!
The partnership with the women's handball team of Issy les Moulineaux (91), France, has been in existence since 2009. TIRU is proud to see this professional team training close to the Isséane unit.

TIRU has supported the professional basketball club JL BOURG BASKET since 2008, the start of the project to build the Ovade sorting-methanisation-composting unit, which was inaugurated in Bourg-en-Bresse (01) in June 2016.
